Bear Necessities is a beautifully decorated three bedroom, three bathroom chalet located in peaceful Wears Valley. It boasts of excellent views of Cove Mountain. When you stand on the side deck of the house, you are only a stone’s throw away from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the most visited National Park in the United States. It is not uncommon to see deer, turkey, and other wildlife roaming through the woods. The entry area stacked stone accents and columns welcome you. Come on in and ring the "Bear Bell."

The main level features "Mama Bear's" kitchen with new stainless steel appliances. It also has a distinctive dining area, living room, and master bedroom with its own private shower and whirlpool tub. The focal point of the living room is the stacked stone, wood-burning fireplace. Also featured are an overstuffed leather couch and loveseat, a flat screen TV with DVD player, a beautiful artistic "twig and bark" entertainment center where you will find the 100+ video library. The master bedroom features a king size bed and French doors that take you out to a lovely sitting area and the hot-tub, all on the main level porch.

The third floor has "Papa Bear's" loft with a pool table, television, and entertainment center. Also on this floor is another private deck with sitting area, a bedroom with generous closet space, a king size bed, and private bathroom.

The lower level is the "Moose's Lounge" at Bear Necessities.  It offers a third king size bed, full bathroom, private deck with both a sitting and dining area. This floor also has the laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer. Please enjoy "Baby Bear's" Playstation II System and TV with DVD player down here too.

Attention has been paid to the extras that everyone loves such as the main level outdoor hot tub, four TVs (all with cable channel access), high speed wireless Internet, a charcoal grill, a large outdoor table and benches (seating for eight), comfy rocking chairs, coffee tables, Adirondack gliders, and a five foot wide cedar porch swing.

Bear Necessities will sleep at least six people comfortably. You are only a short distance from Dollywood, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and a "short-cut" to a little known entrance to the National Park. In just a few minutes you could be fishing or tubing on the Little River in the Smoky Mountains.
