Bear Paws is a warm and inviting one bedroom, one bath log cabin with an all wood interior. The cabin is also non-smoking and within walking distance of several cascading water falls along Cove Creek. One of the highlights on the way to the cabin is driving across the charming covered bridge that crosses Cove Creek. The Great Smoky Mountain National Park’s most famous resident, the black bear, is represented through out the cabin in all the beautiful decorations. The main level of the cabin features the kitchen, dining area, living room, the bedroom with the whirlpool tub and the bathroom. Guests can enjoy the warmth from the gas fireplace while relaxing on the overstuffed wildlife fabric covered couch or the rocking chair. A bear may be draped across the back of the couch or even holding up the glass on the coffee table in the living room. Even though there are no moose in the National Park in Tennessee, you might just find one relaxing on the pine cone bedspread in the queen size main level bedroom. As a side note, you will not have to share the large whirlpool tub in the master bedroom area with a bear or moose. After a hike in the National Park or trip to one of the many local shopping malls, relax in the steaming outdoor hot tub or play a game of pool in the loft game room. The loft also contains a sleeper sofa to help accommodate any extra guests. You can also just sit in a rocking chair on the main level wrap around deck. For your enjoyment the cabin also offers a Play Station 2 video game, two cable TVs, a VCR and a DVD player. A washer & dryer and a charcoal grill are also available. Bear Paws will sleep up to four people. The wrap around deck and the covered porch adds to the charm of the cabin. High speed Internet access is available at the rental cabin.
