Mountain View Lodge is a somewhat private mountain top four bedroom three bathroom log cabin in Wears Valley with outstanding double sided mountain and valley views. Whether looking over the valley floor, the mountains of the National Park, the foothills of Walden’s Creek or the city lights of Pigeon Forge, Mountain View lodge has scenery for everyone. Being bordered by the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and only minutes from Pigeon Forge is what makes Wears Valley and Mountain View Lodge an ideal family vacation spot. Furnished with unique pieces, what we like to refer to as Appalachian Jackson Hole, helps give the cabin a one-of-a-kind feel. The cabin can sleep ten with two king size beds and three queen size beds.  

The main entry level features a large vaulted ceiling great room area with exposed hand hewed beams, a stone gas fireplace, comfortable seating and a satellite TV with a DVD player and a VCR. There is room enough for everyone. Stretch out on the sofa, snuggle on the love seat or sit back and relax in the recliner. The kitchen has everything that’s required to serve up breakfast, lunch or dinner and includes extra counter space by way of a kitchen island. Behind the living area and adjacent to the kitchen is the dining area with a rustic hand carved dining table that can easily accommodate the family. Also located on the main level is a king size bedroom, a queen size bedroom and a full bathroom with a combination tub/shower unit. Each bedroom also features a very comfortable sitting chair just perfect for reading while the queen size bedroom has a second satellite TV with a DVD player and a VCR.

The upper story boasts the master bedroom, adjoining bathroom and a cozy sitting loft. The bedroom holds an Aspen king size log bed, a sitting chair and windows that feature beautiful views of Cove Mountain. The master bathroom sports a whirlpool tub complete with a hand held shower head and a picture window looking out over the tree tops.

Downstairs in the lower level, you can challenge your family members to a game of eight ball on pool table in the game room or watch the big game on the third satellite TV. The downstairs sleeping area holds two queen beds and is adjacent to the downstairs bath that features a combination tub/shower unit.

With covered decks on both sides of the cabin, Mountain View Lodge has plenty of opportunities to soak up the outdoors. The covered front porch features pretty views of Cove Mountain and rocking chairs. The covered back porch holds the gas grill, a porch swing, the large hot tub and more rocking chairs.
