Whisperwind is an easy access two bedroom three bathroom log cabin surrounded by the Great Smoky Mountains. If you prefer to appreciate the mountains from the bottom looking up instead of the top looking down then Whisperwind is the place for you. It also offers some of the best sunset views around. Cute as a button with a rustic flavor describes this cabin to a “T.” The main entry level hosts a very efficient full size kitchen, a dining area which can seat six, a well planned living room, the main level bedroom and a private bathroom. The living room sports pine flooring along with soaring cathedral ceilings. A wall of glass offers plenty of light and wonderful mountain views. The living room also hosts a comfortable sofa and two reclining chairs. Relax and enjoy the gas burning fireplace, crafted from mountain stone, or one of the four cable TVs with a DVD player. The master bedroom holds a cozy queen size bed featuring our most well known resident, the black bear. The heart shaped whirlpool tub will be a playful reminder of your honeymoon or a romantic inspiration for the newlyweds.
Going upstairs, you will find two twin beds in the loft plus the second bedroom and bathroom. The private bedroom features a king size log bed and a vaulted ceiling. The down stairs area features a game room and the third bathroom. The game room holds a very nice pool table, a foosball table and a Sony Playstation 2 complete with a selection of games. For parents with children that have lots of energy, Whisperwind has a wonderful yard for all kinds of outdoor activities. If you are a little less energetic, the cabin also offers a covered wrap around deck with plenty of rocking chairs, two porch swings, a hot tub for relaxing and a charcoal grill. For the true outdoorsman, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is only two minutes away via Wears Valley’s very own secret entrance and offers fly fishing, numerous hiking trails and unmatched scenery.
