If you’re visiting us at Timbercreek Cabin Rentals this weekend, you’ll likely see a lot of traffic when you enter Pigeon Forge. But at least this time around, the cars will be a lot more interesting to look at. This weekend, the Grand Spring Rod Run is getting in gear once again, running April 12 through 15 at the Grand Resort Hotel & Convention Center.
Like the other car shows that roll into town each year, the Grand Rod Run features more than just rare and unique autos. Visitors can spend the day looking over new products, swap meet items and interactive displays from vendors. Workshops are also available for those who are seeking answers to technical questions about autos. All of the Pigeon Forge, Tennessee car shows are an overwhelming success and a great experience for all who attend.
During such events, cars are judged on factors such as attention to detail, cleanliness, modifications and overall appearance. Beyond the judging and prizes, there’s also a lot of shoptalk and respectful admiring of the competition. Visitors to Pigeon Forge typically line the streets with their folding chairs to watch the constant passing parade of vehicles, while guests in hotels overlooking the Parkway get a great view of all the action.
